At Ekhö, we’re driven by a personal mission to protect the gift of hearing. Hearing loss is permanent, and there’s no turning back once it's gone. This reality hit home for us when we saw the impact of long-term noise exposure on our family. One of our grandmothers, who worked in a loud kitchen her whole life, has significant noise-induced hearing loss. Witnessing her daily frustration and knowing that her hearing loss was entirely preventable has fueled our passion to create earplugs that prevent hearing loss, so others don’t have to face the same fate.
